On the river in Peppermint Grove is the Keane's Point Reserve.  It is where the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht club is located, and there is a park, a shady picnic area and a cafe.

The picnic area is down beside the river, with a great view.  The cafe, Cappuccino by the River, faces out over the river.   The grassed area with the playground is back up from the river a little bit, behind the cafe. 

It is a fairly traditional playground, but quite large and lots of fun!
