Burswood Park is on the south bank of the Swan River right next to the Casino. Entry to the park is off Great Eastern Highway, either through the main turnoff to the Casino and then around to the right, or if you are heading east on Great Eastern Highway, a left turn entrance before you get to the main Casino road. The park is fantastic, a lovely well kept stretch of river foreshore with lots of trees, bbqs picnic tables, nice toilets (with a family toilet and a disabled toilet) and of course a playground. The playground is fenced, has soft fall on the ground, and has shade from lots of trees in and around the area. Access is good, with Acrod parking close to the playground and flat all the way. The toilets are across a wide grassed area from the playground, but there is a path all the way. The coffee comes from the Dome Cafe in the Casino complex. It is not as close as many of the coffee spots that feature on this site, but it is a 4 minute walk from the playground into the Dome (yes I timed it). You go around the lake, across the carpark and into the Riverside Entrance of the Casino which faces out towards the playground and the river. Up the escalator and to the left is the Dome. Easy!
