Thanks for visiting our site.

We are parents Andrew and Claire and kids Alex and Tegan.  We decided to make this website as a hobby project because we thought it would be fun to create a resource for other parents wanting to know where to find great playgrounds and a decent coffee at the same time.

We are really thrilled that since we launched the website in early 2009, we have had 17,000 hits on our site, with a total of 13,000 unique visitors!!

The site has been mentioned on the Mix 94.5 radio station website, we got an article in the Community Newspapers and most importantly, many people have recommended the site on to their friends.  Thanks to everyone for their suggestions of places to visit across Perth and throughout WA.

Some hints and tips for a great coffee in the park.

• Usually we pack a mini picnic, some biscuits or muffins, and buy a coffee so we can have morning tea on the grass.
• Always cover the kids in sunscreen, it means that you can relax and the kids can have a longer play. Also, enforce no hat no play.
• If you go early in the morning, the playgrounds are usually quiet.
• Invest in a picnic rug with a plastic bottom, so that you can sit even when the grass is damp.
• Have fun and enjoy some family time.
